Conspiracy Theory #3: The Hollow Earth Theory

Conspiracy Theory #3: The Hollow Earth Theory

Conspiracy Theory #3: Do we live on a hollow planet?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The hollow earth theory is one among the most argued theories that have ever existed. The theory consists of a set of equations and text records about the existence of a planetary body inside Earth. There was a book once published with a story about an Earth called Agharta. This planetary body existed inside the present Earth, and depicts the tale of travelers who enter it through a gaping hole in the Arctic.
The funny fact about this theory is that there is enough proof and evidence to support it, but nonetheless the public react against it. This is mainly because of religion depicting that no such thing exists, and for the deeply religious people who follow every word said in the holy books, I feel sorrow for them from my heart.

Many people have cried out to newspapers and the media, telling them that they have seen Agharta on excursions to the Arctic on boats. The most commonly told explanation (keep in mind that this is an actual story, [also a conspiracy theory] and it had happened in 1978, and I am just using this story as an example for similar encounters) is that while the crew on a boat are watching the horizon on the Arctic water, the boat is stopped by a large chunk of ice floating around. While the crew panic and try to steer the boat around the ice cap, they come across a humongous hole, that's right, hole. Now the crew members are bedazzled and want to find out what the hole is about (to religious people out there, no this is not an entrance to hell). Now these guys look into the hole and find out that the water flows into the hole and they can even hear the sound of it tripping down into something, like a waterfall.
Now a daring man from the crew decides to grab a headlight, some rope and some equipment and goes down the hole with an electronic talker to let the others aboard know about what's down there. Now after he goes down a bit more, the talker stops working due to electric interference within the place and this startles the crew above, but as much as how it startles the brave guy when he sees what's below him. A different world, filled with ice, grass and lava, digital technologies, a different blue/green/yellow sky that changed shades, flying saucers, dinosaurs and many other bizarre things. He shouts up to the crew above, unaware that at -15 feet, nobody up there can hear you. In fact, he's so surprised that he accidentally lets go off the rope and free falls a 20 feet below to the ground. Here he is greeted by strange, alien looking beings (that were around 15 feet tall, according to this guy's [Tom] diary) and is observed by the other creatures. He soon realizes that this place is filled with technology that even the planet as it is today cannot invent.

The crew above loses contact with him and flees for help, then comes back a few years as a different crew later due to FBI reasons, it seems. Now after a few years another crew comes over to search the Arctic on a scientific excursion (the old crew got eaten by a whale or tide or something, nobody knows, but they just disappeared). The people on the boat see a guy sitting a large chunk of ice, huddled up in the cold with metal all around his arm (he had somehow lost an arm), head and legs. They rescue him and bring him up to America, then listen to the story he has to say. He said that he also had a diary where he wrote down everything but he lost it during a storm. Nobody believed his story, and they admitted him to a local mental institution because he had started to show signs of neurological disease symptoms due to damaged brain nerves (keep in mind that cold ice can defeat anything). He died in 2003.
Before he died, he told the hospital staff that somebody needed to find his book and let the world know that they were nice people, and were indeed very real and harmless. The flying saucers had always come from inside the planet we lived on and dinosaurs still existed. We just didn't know it and if we continued ignoring them, they will arise and bring the upper world to an end one day, and that day was coming soon.

In 2006, during a Discovery excavation of the Arctic ice caps, a crew found a chunk of metallic objects in a giant frozen ice cube. They used heat to melt it down and to their horror, found a human hand clutching a metallic tin. Inside the tin was a book with tattered pages, with drawings and strange languages, The book explained the same things that the guy had told the hospital staff about. At the end of book, on one special tattered page was something so frightening, that the government had concealed the possession and stored it in their compartments, safe from anybody who wanted to question its existence.

The small page at the end of the book had these sentences on it:
"The dinosaurs are still here. I just fed Boraba a large leaf, and he is enjoying it. Anyway, the Agharthian people have told me that it is my duty to convince everybody up there that they were nice and they want to make friendly contact, but my people are destroying their little planet. They are killing it with factories and smoke. How selfish can my people be?
But now everything will be okay. (followed by a number of strange symbols) The Agharthian people said that once this page and that language is read, they will come to get my people and then everything will be okay. They also told me to keep the device in the tin and cut off my arm. I believed them.
I shall do so."

Note that no such "device" was found in the tin with the arm, and the so called Agharthian people have made no contact so far. Or have they? And is it kept a secret?

Surprisingly, they exist. Well according to archaeology they do.
They found this huge skeleton, along with many others in the Arctic sea bed where Tom (name has been altered with) was found on the ice cap. Nobody knows why these skeletons have been showing up but it is pretty creepy.

These images taken by satellites sent by NASA prove the existence of such a hole in the arctic. It is true, and nobody can deny it.

That same decade a new theory about the hollow-earth appeared. It was the brainchild of Cyrus Read Teed. Teed proposed that the Earth was a hollow sphere and that people lived on the inside of it. In the center of the sphere was the sun, which was half dark and half light. As the sun turned it gave the appearance of a sunset and sunrise. The dense atmosphere in the center of the sphere prevented observers from looking up into the sky and seeing the other side of the world. Interestingly enough, Teed's theory was hard for 19th century mathematicians to disprove based on geometry alone, since the exterior of a sphere can be mapped onto the interior with little trouble.
In 1846 the discovery of an extinct woolly mammoth frozen in ice in Siberia was used by Marshall Gardner as evidence of a hollow earth. Gardner subscribed to the single-sun-inside-the-earth theory and suggested that the mammoth was so well-preserved because it had died recently. Gardner thought that mammoths and other extinct creatures wandered freely in the interior of the earth. This one had wandered outside by using the hole at the North Pole, then was frozen and carried to Siberia on an ice flow.
Teed changed his name to Koresh and founded what might today be called a cult. After buying a 300 acre tract in Florida, Koresh declared himself the messiah of a new religion. He died in 1908 without proving his ideas.
Perhaps one of the most well-known books about hollow-earth is Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. The book illustrates a third theory of hollow-earth which is more plausible than the other two. This is that passages from the surface lead to caverns underground in which life thrives.
In the book three scientists climb down an inactive Iceland volcano in an attempt to find a path to the center of the Earth. They don't make it, but they do find an underground sea populated with prehistoric creatures including plesiosaurs.
Verne may have been closer to that mark than most expected. For years scientists scoffed at the idea of life thriving underground without light to provide energy. Now explorations have found rock-eating bacteria living as far as a mile below the ground. In Romania a whole ecosystem, including spiders, scorpions, leeches and millipedes has been found in a cave cut off from the surface 5.5 million years ago.
